We started with ideas, we grow with trends
Phonotronica is a Bulgarian electronics manufacturer founded in 1990. We began with our own range of electronic products, introducing innovations that opened up new possibilities in telecommunications and the energy sector.
Since then, we have expanded into electronics manufacturing services, producing electronic products based on our customers’ designs while continuing to manufacture our own Phonotronica 2 electronic time switch. It is designed to control street, park and billboard lighting, as well as lighting in other applications.
Our experience with our own products helps us see beyond individual manufacturing steps and consider the product as a whole. We understand the importance of reliable performance throughout a product’s service life. This understanding shapes our approach to every customer project, with a focus on customer requirements, the manufacturing process and lasting partnerships.

To ensure we can adapt to any situation, we have our own in-house workshop where we design custom equipment and tools.
We also handle the procurement and supply of components for each project. Throughout the process, our customers receive real-time updates on the production of their products.
Tradition since 1990
Milestones

1993
In 1993, our team developed and launched the first innovative device within the divisions of the National Telecommunications Company. Its implementation enabled the complete automation of telephone calls between cities in the country and internationally.

1994 - 2004
We pioneered the invention, manufacturing, and launch of the first electronic tariff clocks and electricity meters for Electricity Distribution Companies. For over 30 years, our products have demonstrated exceptional performance and reliability.

2013
In 2013, we launched a state-of-the-art automated assembly line. Alongside the production of our proprietary products, we also fulfill orders for external clients as an EMS partner, further expanding our capabilities and commitment to quality.

2024
We achieved IATF 16949:2016 certification and integrated a custom-developed ERP system providing full production traceability. We continue to invest in technology and continuous process improvement.
